RESOLVED, That the special legislative commission created by Resolution No. 306 |

passed by the General Assembly at its January Session, A.D. 2004, and approved June 8, 2004 |

entitled "Joint Resolution Creating a Special Legislative Commission to Study the Current |

Strengths and Weaknesses of Library Services in the State of Rhode Island" and as amended by |

Resolution No. 359 passed by the General Assembly at its January Session, A.D. 2006, and |
|

approved June 23, 2006 entitled "Joint Resolution Reinstating and Extending the Commission |
|

Life and Amending the Membership of the Special Legislative Commission to Study the Current |
|
1-8 |
Strengths and Weaknesses of Library Services in the State of Rhode Island" is hereby authorized |
|

to continue its study and make a report to the General Assembly on or before April 1, 2008, and |
|
1-10 |
said commission shall expire on June 1, 2008; and be it further |
|

RESOLVED, That the time for reporting authorized by Resolution No. 306 passed by the |
|

General Assembly at its January Session, A.D. 2004, and approved June 8, 2004, and as amended |
|

by Resolution No. 359 passed by the General Assembly at its January Session, A.D. 2006, and |
|
1-14 |
approved June 23, 2006 be and the same is hereby rescinded; and be it further |
|
1-15 |
RESOLVED, That said commission is hereby named "The Karla Harry Commission on |
|
1-16 |
Libraries in Rhode Island." |
