Senator James C. Sheehan (Democrat - District 36, Narragansett, North Kingstown) was born on January 27, 1966. He is married to Meredith and they have two children: Colin and Liam. 

• EDUCATION: He graduated from North Kingstown High School in 1984, the University of Rhode Island in 1988 with a B.A., and Catholic University in 1992 with a M.A., and received his Teacher’s Certificate from Rhode Island College in 1985.
