§ 11-47-47 Display of weapons.
No person, firm, or corporation shall display in a place of business by means
of a window display any pistol, revolver, or other firearm, as defined in
§ 11-47-2, or any dagger, dirk, bowie knife, stiletto, metal knuckles, or
blackjack; provided, that dealers in sporting goods may include in a window
display pistols or revolvers upon a permit issued by the chief of police or
town sergeant of any city or town. Any person, firm, or corporation violating
the provisions of this section shall be punished by a fine not exceeding
twenty-five dollars ($25.00) for the first offense and one hundred dollars
($100) for every subsequent offense.
