Media Advisory: Colorado marijuana officials to be available to R.I. media tomorrow
STATE HOUSE – Rhode Island lawmakers who are currently considering a proposal to regulate and tax marijuana similarly to alcohol will meet with the Colorado government’s top marijuana official on Tuesday at 3 p.m. to learn about the state’s experience since voters adopted similar legislation in 2012.
Andrew Freedman, director of marijuana coordination for Colorado Gov. John Hickenlooper, will also be available to speak with members of the media tomorrow, from noon to 1 p.m. in Room 213 of the State House.
