Minority Leader Morgan introduces resolution congratulating Trump on inauguration
STATE HOUSE — On Wednesday, on behalf of members of the House Minority caucus, Minority Leader Patricia L. Morgan (R-Dist. 26, West Warwick, Coventry, Warwick) introduced a House Resolution (H-5001), congratulating President-elect Donald J. Trump on his inauguration as the 45th President of the United States of America.
“I want to offer my sincere congratulations, as I know members of the House Minority caucus do, to Donald J. Trump who will soon be sworn into office,” said Representative Morgan. “It is my hope that Rhode Island will have a productive working relationship with our new president. All Rhode Islanders wish our new president well as he assumes the presidency. A successful Trump presidency, means a successful nation for all of us. I am excited to see our country and Rhode Island prosper under his guidance and leadership. As a world renowned business owner, and media mogul, President Trump will no doubt work with Republican leaders to bring much needed federal assistance to our state.”
