Senator Morgan to welcome Billy Gilman to Senate chamber
STATE HOUSE – The Rhode Island State Senate will welcome Hopkinton native and recording artist Billy Gilman Thursday in the Senate chamber. Gilman, a top-selling recording artist, will be honored for being named a runner-up on the hit NBC show “The Voice.”
Senator Elaine J. Morgan, (R-Dist. 34, Charlestown, Exeter, Hopkinton, Richmond, West Greenwich), will introduce a resolution honoring Gilman for his performance on “The Voice.”
Gilman’s appearance will take place after 4 p.m. in the Senate chamber.
