Assembly offices experience brief IT shutdown
STATE HOUSE – General Assembly offices experienced a brief technology outage this afternoon, making networks, including telephones, inaccessible for about an hour.
The outage occurred from approximately 12:15 p.m. to 1:15 p.m. when the Assembly’s data center lost a core piece of power infrastructure, causing IT systems to restart. All systems returned to normal, but anyone who attempted to contact Assembly offices during that hour may have been unable to do so. Anyone who was unable to reach an office during that time is asked to please call again.
