Rep. Robert B. Lancia to host Legislative Luncheon
STATE HOUSE -- Rep. Robert Lancia (R-Dist. 16, Cranston) is excited to welcome Rhode Island educational leaders and activists to the state house for a luncheon on January 25th. The event will center around a discussion of expanding parental choice in their children’s education and the ever changing landscape of learning.
“I’m always happy to meet and learn from members of our community. I feel that together we can improve our educational system and offer a brighter future to you and the youth of Rhode Island” Rep. Lancia stated.
The event will feature a light lunch and a keynote speech by Jonathan Butcher, senior policy analyst for the National Heritage Foundation & senior fellow at the Goldwater Institute. His research on educational policy has appeared in the Georgetown Journal of Law and Public Policy, the Wall Street Journal, and Forbes.com.
