MEDIA ADVISORY: Senate Finance Committee to hear testimony on budget for state funds, government reform and fees
STATE HOUSE — The Senate Committee on Finance is scheduled to meet Thursday to continue hearing testimony on the FY 2018 state budget (2018-H 7200).
The committee is scheduled to meet Thursday, Feb. 15, at the rise of the Senate (about 4:30 p.m.) in Room 211 on the second floor of the State House.
The Finance Committee will hear testimony on Article 2 of the FY 2018 state budget, which relates to state funds. The panel will also hear testimony on Article 3 of the FY 2018 state budget, which relates to government reform. Finally, the committee will hear testimony on Article 7, which relates to fees, specifically, Section 1: securities fees, and Section 3: claims adjustors license fees.
The Senate Committee on Finance is chaired by Sen. William J. Conley Jr. (D-Dist. 18, East Providence, Pawtucket).
