Paul Vincent Jabour (Democrat - District 5, Providence) was born in Providence on November 21, 1956. He is an Attorney and the sole proprietor of the Law Office Paul V. Jabour, Providence, RI.
Senator Jabour is a graduate of Classical High School, The University of Rhode Island, Phi Beta Kappa; Pierce Law Center, J.D.; and the Boston University School of Law, LLM Taxation.
Senator Jabour was a Pell-Beard Scholar Intern at the University of Rhode Island; Student Senate Member, CASA Volunteer, RI Family Court; Board of Directors of the Federal Hill House; Member of Rhode Island House of Representatives Judiciary Committee 1986-1990; Chief of Staff, Mayor's Office, City of Providence 2002-2003; Member of the Dean's Leadership Council, Pierce Law Center 2005-present; Member of Boston University Law Alumni Association. His is presently an Executive Board Member of the URI Foundation.
In addition, Senator Jabour served as Public Administrator, Providence Probate Court, 1984-1994; Chairperson 13th Ward Democratic Committee; Providence Public Member of the I-195 Commission; Elected to the Rhode Island House of Representative, Special Election, April, 1985; Chief Clerk of the Providence Probate Court; Elected to the Rhode Island Senate November 7, 2006.
